A
Ancestor (IC)
God-like beings worshipped across Erdreja. Sometime manifest in different ways and influence the world.
B
C
Code Pink (OOC)
One Harts player named Pinky has a strong allergy to tobacco and will be severely affected by contact with smoke, ash or similar. Before smoking we ask players to call “Code Pink” and if Pinky is in your vicinity they will move.
G
GOD (OOC)
Games Operations Desk – this term is deprecated in favour of Event Support but still often used.
L
Lammie (OOC)
Laminated cards with info, used for attaching to items to give them different in character qualities.
M
Monster (OOC)
Used as a verb – you go monstering. The game relies on volunteers to play the non-character roles (aka monsters), whether they are cannon fodder or characters in their own right. Each faction is expected to send people to do this at a prescribed time at the main events, but players can choose to do as much more as they want to and will get rewards for it.
Muster (IC/OOC)
An ad hoc meeting of all available. We aim to do these daily and sometimes more often. It’s a place to collect and share info briefly and we typically have an in character and out of character part to them. Look for indications of when they are happening on chalkboards or similar, or listen for the shout.
S
Strawberry picking (IC)
An often used in-character excuse for what people are up to when they’ve out-of-character gone monstering.
T
Trinity (IC)
The three primary ancestors in the Harts pantheon.
W
Warchest (IC)
The faction has a stock of lammies and physreps for player use. These are handled by the in character quartermaster who you can approach to request use. If borrowing a lammie for an item that doesn’t have its own physrep you’ll need to bring a suitable one of your own.
